De 1967 à 2000, Éliane Radigue a composé une vingtaine d’œuvres de musique électronique. Depuis 2001, elle a abandonné la composition sur synthétiseur analogique, pour se consacrer à un travail instrumental qui prolonge sans rupture esthétique son œuvre électronique. Pour la compositrice, qui a toujours travaillé seule, l'étroite collaboration avec les interprètes durant le processus de composition est une révélation. En juin 2011 à Londres, Sound and Music a rendu hommage à l'ensemble de son œuvre.
Between 1967 and 2000, Éliane Radigue composed more than twenty pieces of electronic music. She stopped working with the analogic synthesizer in 2001, and now devotes herself to instrumental music, still remaining faithful to the same aesthetics. For a composer who mostly worked alone, to collaborate closely with musicians during the compositional process, is an epiphany... In June 2011 in London, Sound and Music paid tribute to her entire body of work.
