Telluride Film Festival

Berkeley, États-Unis

31/08/2018 - 03/09/2018

What are the prizes? There are none. The real prize is to be accepted from hundreds of entries as one of approximately 15 shorts and 20 features that will be showcased at the Telluride Film Festival. That’s right — once your film is invited to join the festival, by the time the event rolls around, you can stop biting your nails and enjoy the company of some of the best directors in the world.
The first films of Robert Rodriquez, Michael Moore and Billy Bob Thornton debuted here. Ken Burns broke through with THE CIVIL WAR. Think it can’t happen to you? We revel in discovering new talent. But understand, just because Telluride is not a competition, that doesn’t mean the festival is not difficult to get into. We show only a handful of films and are very selective.
We don’t discriminate: shorts, features, documentaries, animation, film, and video — all are welcome submissions. The only prerequisite is that your movie hasn’t been shown around the North American block before. A few short films will be paired with a feature. Others will be collected into one of the three short film programs.
