"Notre rue" est la rue Ogrodowa à Lodz, en Pologne. Une famille ouvrière, les Furmanczyk, vit ici depuis cinq générations, en face de l’usine qui a été toute leur vie, en ruines depuis la chute du communisme. L’usine est maintenant transformée par un groupe financier français en centre commercial et de loisirs, le plus grand d’Europe centrale. Pendant 3 ans, le réalisateur a filmé la vie de cette famille confrontée aux changements qui traversent (ou bouleversent) la Pologne contemporaine.

"Our Street" takes place in Lodz (Poland). A working-class family, the Furmanczyk, has been living here for five generations. On the other side of the street is the factory where they all used to work, ruined by the downfall of communism. Now, a French company is transforming the factory into the biggest commercial & leisure center in Eastern Europe. During 3 years, the director has filmed the life of this family. Through the changes that take place in the modern Poland, the film shows man entangled in the mechanisms of history.
