Juliette Joffé réalise le portrait d'un comédien hanté par ses rôles passés. Angoissé lorsqu'il n'est pas sur scène, ce "héros" s'embarque dans un voyage sans but, ramassant au passage un auto-stoppeur dans la nuit. Le flot de sa voix révèle lentement un traumatisme d'enfance, des mots comme en écho avec les paysages sombres traversés. Alors, le comédien disparaît dans la brume, faisant d'elle la tenture rouge d'un nouveau théâtre.

Juliette Joffé films the portrait of an actor haunted by his past roles. Anxious when he isn't on stage, this “hero” embarks on an aimless journey, picking up a hitch-hiker on the way at night. The flow of his voice slowly reveals a childhood trauma, his words like an echo to the dark landscapes they are driving through. Then, the actor disappears into the mist, thus turning it into the red curtain of yet another theatre.
