The documentary film was shot for over 23 years. Film observes the life of Jakub Špalek, one of the most interesting personalities of Czech theatre. The shooting started during autumn 1989, when Jakub became one of the initiators of the Velvet Revolution. His dream – to open his own theatre – came true and Jakub is now the chief of the Jester theatre in Prague. The film captures not only difficult times, when he tried to succeed with independent theatre stage but also his turbulent private life filled with love and drama.
