J'avais décidé d'accompagner des SDF jusqu'au moment de leur relogement. Être là avec ma caméra au moment où la vie bascule.
Tenter de saisir – et de comprendre – les enjeux de ce passage d'une précarité totale à un avenir redevenu possible. Avenir porteur d'espoir mais aussi d'angoisse, et bien entendu chargé du passé.
Au travers de l'histoire de Joseph, Rosalie, David, Lou et Nathalie qui tentent, en retrouvant un "chez soi", de recommencer une vie "normale", le film montre ce qu'est l'exclusion, non pas au moment de la dégringolade mais au moment où s'offre une chance de la quitter.
Showing what the passing from a homeless life to a life quite simply can mean and opening a door on to the meaning of the word exclusion. This passage can be a moment of happiness and reconstruction or a total failure. And between the two, there is an infinite range of stories that recount a real difficulty in reintegrating society.
Through the story of Joseph and Rosalie, Lou and Nathalie, David, who are each trying to find the meaning of the word future, this is a portrait of the homeless, showing what exclusion is, not at the time of the come-down but at the time when, thanks to being able to settle again in a home, a chance to leave it is offered.
