Les Messagier sont installés au bord du Doubs entre Montbéliard et Besançon. Nés de la rivière, instruits par elle, ils lui doivent leur éblouissement de toujours. Il leur reste aujourd'hui les mots de la poésie et de la peinture pour s'opposer à la mise à mort programmée de cette étrange et fabuleuse rivière qu'ils proposent de déclarer d’utilité publique.
The Messagier paintings are set up on the banks of the Doubs river between the towns of Montbéliard and Besançon. Born of the river, taught by it, they forever owe their brightness to it. Now they are left with the words of poetry and painting for opposing the programmed death of this strange and fabulous river that they propose declaring a public utility.
