The festival programme consists of an elaborate national and international competition where jury awards will be granted. Also the Con-science jury prize will be awarded again. A number of non-competitive sections complete the festival programme. In co-operation with the national broadcaster CANVAS the festival will explore the possibilities, challenges and advantages of the interactive documentary. During the festival a number of films will be presented for the first time at DOCVILLE, filmmakers and producers will be present to attend the screenings and introduce their films to the audience. DOCVILLE does not only present documentary films, it's also a place for encounters, discussions, debates and information sessions.
